What is not covered by the cat insurance?
Illnesses, defects, or conditions the cat has when the insurance takes effect.
Illnesses, defects, or conditions that are detected or show symptoms within 20 days after the insurance was purchased. This exception does not apply if the insurance is directly transferred from another insurance company in Norway.
Hereditary diseases or injuries.
Alternative treatments.
Behavioral disorders.
Abuse or neglect by the owner or person responsible for the cat.
Neutering/spaying.
Certain breeds and breed mixes have specific exclusions for deformed palates and malformed airways.
